I have accumulated purchasing 10 new Omni wall panels, along with a variety of accessories and several purchases in anticipation of finally getting around to my garage project. I am very impressed with the quality and glad to have found something Made in USA.
However, since I am not a tradesmen, despite my very best efforts, carefully measuring and reviewing the instructions provided, the drilling of my anchors into the wall were off by about a half an inch. When I redid it, I noticed two things
First, it was not clear to me the instructions For installing multiple horizontal panels top to bottom about the orientation and placement of the double top cleats.
Second, it would be very helpful to have heavy duty paper large format templates, so you can just tape it to the wall and drill where indicated for Perfect anchor placement the first time. Particularly as for me I am drilling into concrete walls in my garage. Even after my re-do, you can see in the photo it’s not perfect.
So far, I really like this company, the consistent high-quality heavy gauge, steel componentry, and look forward to improving my installation practice for the next eight panels. If it goes well, I would like to add several more of different smaller sizes for some special places.
